First meet of Autumn. We have a number of items to be demonstrated along with a few tips and tricks from our seasoned beekeeping members.
Topics for the day will include:
- Hive Openings – Weather permitting, autumn check for brood condition, varroa checks & honey storage
- Report on the latest varroa management techniques for Autumn
- Talks & Demonstrations
The Club Shed will be open, we have new stock of full depth frames and fresh foundation.
Bring your bee protection and wear long sleeves and pants as bees will be out and about, there are club veils available for loan during the day.
