This is the clubs Annual General Meeting, you will hear a report from the President and the financials of the club and get to have your say on the future direction as well as apply for a position on the committee.
Presentation from Doug Purdie – He is a leading Australian beekeeper and co-founder of The Urban Beehive in Sydney. A vocal advocate for pollinator health, he authored the popular books Backyard Bees and The Bee Friendly Garden. He has worked for the NSW DPI following the varroa parasite incursion and focuses on teaching sustainable urban beekeeping and creating environments where bees can thrive.
This is a great opportunity to meet the committee, chat bees and meet-up with other like-minded members for a cup of tea and a snack.
The hall opens for a social get together at 7pm with the formal proceedings beginning at 7:30pm.
