The spring management and swarm control course is a one day course designed to provide 2nd year and experienced beekeepers with the necessary knowledge, confidence and practical skills to successfully manage their beehive during the spring buildup and into the summer months. You will gain confidence from understanding the activity in the hive and ways to manage the bees. You will learn about the reasons behind the bees swarming instinct and how to manage the behaviour of the bees.
Cost is $165 per person. A light lunch will be supplied. The course starts at 9am and concludes at 4pm.
