Hive opening and inspection of the club hives:
- Hive Openings and discussion on what to look for
- We will be opening hive if the weather is suitable
- There will be demonstrations on cleaning beeswax
- Making handcream and lip balm
- Talks and Presentations will start at 10:15am with the hive openings following the talks
- All your other bee questions will also be answered.
- The Club Shed will be open for cash sales of jars, frames and wax foundation
Bring your bee protection and wear long sleeves and pants as bees will be out and about, there are club veils available for loan during the day.
