Flow®Hive Essentials course

Our New Flow®Hive Essentials course is designed to benefit the owners of a Flow® Hive on the North Shore and Northern Beaches of Sydney. Specifically designed for the bee keeper who wants to further interact with their bees, and increase their knowledge and understand the advantages and disadvantages (if any) of using the Flow®Hive in Sydney.

Not sure if you are doing the right thing with your Flow®Hive? Having trouble getting your bees to store honey into the Flow®Hive frames? Or even just seeking like minded bee keepers who also have a Flow®Hive, with whom you can share information and experiences.

These questions and more will be answered at the one day Flow®Hive Essentials course.

The course covers the Flow®Hive system, when to harvest and how to harvest your honey, managing your bees and hive, solving problems, opening your brood box, ventilation, myths and facts in bee keeping, transporting or moving your hive, preventing swarming, all in the context of using a Flow®Hive system. We will also be covering specific issues relating to the Flow®Hive Frames such as cleaning and storing your frames and pest control (including ants).

The course is designed for both new and experienced bee keepers with a Flow® Hive, we strongly recommend that everyone completes a Beginners’ Beekeeping course prior to attending the Flow®Hive Essentials

Date 3rd March 2018. One day only – limited spaces
